Let me introduce myself. I am
Jamilou Schaffer-Williams, born and raised in Pampa, Texas where I
currently reside. My dad’s grandparents were actually homesteaders
in Gray County near Lake McClelland. My granddad was the first baby
recorded born in Gray County. I attended and graduated from Pampa
schools, as did all of my children. My parents still live in Pampa
as do my sister and her family and several aunts, uncles, and
cousins. I also have a younger brother. He and his wife live in
Maryland.
My son, Jason, and his wife, Lissa, live in Amarillo with three of
my wonderful grandchildren, Jaelyn, Ryce, and Mayson. All of the
kids are involved in the Amarillo Theater. Jaelyn, who will be a
Senior next year, is involved in golf, volleyball and mixed martial
arts. Ryce, who will be a freshman next year, is also involved in
football and has won many awards for his beautiful voice.
Mayson, 8 yrs. old, has taken up a new hobby of playing golf with
his new golf clubs.
Jason is
employed with the Amarillo school system as an Athletic Trainer for
Palo Duro High School. Lissa is a full-time Mom but also works
part-time.
My daughter, Jessica, and her husband, and two children, Jackson 3,
and Ava Grace 1 ½ currently reside in Washington D.C. She is a
branch manager of a large credit union in Alexandria, VA. Her
husband, CW4 Jeremy T. Light is currently serving his 21 year in the
United States Army. He is currently serving his second tour as
Caisson Platoon Leader at the Arlington National Cemetery.
My foster son, Mark, is currently working and trying to figure out
what his life ambition really is.
My best friend and husband is Marc Williams. He is recently employed
by Wood Group Pressure Control as a Field Salesman.
I have been employed with Innovative Staffing Solutions, LLC since
February 4th, 2002 as a Personnel Consultant. I am now a Senior
Regional Personnel Consultant serving Pampa, Canadian, Borger and
the surrounding areas. My job has many facets, such as public
relations, client contacts, community involvement, and company to
client liaison. Basically, it is my job to educate the business
community about the services we provide and make sure those services
fit our client’s needs in the best and most productive manner. I
also am a member on the Corporate Team and Management Team with
Innovative Staffing. I also serve as the Senior Regional Personnel
Consultant. It is my responsibility to direct and work with the
consultant team to continue to grow this great company.
My work background has been in the mental health field, fifteen
years of substitute teaching, doctor’s office receptionist, and
previous experience in the staffing and employment industry. I have
also been employed as an antique dealer in the past.
At Innovative Staffing Solutions, I have had the opportunity of
continuing education hours in the area of time management, team
building, budgeting, the five dysfunctions of a team, corporate
scorecard development, and others. A few other continuing education
hours have been developing a corporate mission statement and code of
ethics in the workplace.
While working for ISSLLC, I have attended twelve months of
leadership training and have had twelve months of Jeffrey Gitomer’s
TrainOne which is training in developing sales and marketing.
I attend Trinity Church; I have been a CASA, Court Appointed Special
Advocate for children, a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi and a
proud member of the Pampa Downtown Kiwanis.
I
especially enjoy attending my children’s and grandchildren’s
sporting events. In my spare time, I love to do things with my
children and grandchildren, go to flea markets, go junking and
antiquing with my friends and decorating our house with antiques and
collectibles.
I would like to encourage you to come by one of the Innovative
Staffing offices and see how we can consult with your company to
have the best employee staff that they can have. Who knows, one of
our open positions might be just what you are looking for. Thanks
for visiting our website. Please come back and visit again.
